Since the establishment of our company in February 2000, we
have made the security field our principal stage of business. Without letup, we
have continued with advancement and development of our original one time password
system, (which we hold a US patent for) and after the introduction of our first
product OFFIC, we introduced our PASSLOGIC system and then followed that with
our current PASSLOGIC-FA system. In 2004 we introduced our public authentication
service PassLogi! which utilizes the PASSLOGIC system. During this
time we have also been providing licenses for use of the PASSLOGIC system. We
have steadily increased the number of licenses each year and by the end of 2004
we had nearly 300,000 licensed users.
Our company was established just as the Internet began to take hold in Japan.
E-mail was starting to be adopted by everyday businesses, and the home page boom
had reached a mature state of establishment. At the time, security
was a term only understood by a few computer specialists. Now, things have reached
the point where even computer beginners are aware of the need for security. Products
that have been developed with security in mind are being introduced in a large
number of areas.
However, many of these products force inconvenience upon users under the guise
of security improvement. Since the start of our company, we have foreseen
the arrival of the security age and have viewed high security as not only an obvious
necessity but also something that should be very convenient and unobtrusive to
the user.
Security is sure to become an even more important issue as we move on into the
future. By developing systems that are Easy to use for the user and easy
to operate for the manager we feel that we are on the right track to ensuring
that users have an enjoyable computer experience..
